What are thermofoil doors?
Thermofoil doors are made of engineered wood with thermoplastic sheet on the front, laminate back. They come in a variety of styles and colors to suit most any taste. What is Cabinet Recovering?
We basically do a “face lift” of your existing cabinet doors. All cabinet doors and drawer front are removed and disposed of. Then we recover all the cabinet face frames, ends of the cabinet, underside of the upper cabinet, the toe at the bottom of the cabinet, and anything else that needs to be recovered. Not all cabinets need all these things recovered and some need more. Your professional design consultant can tell you more.
How long will my project take?
The average job is 2-3 days. Many of our projects only take one day though. If you are happy with the color of your cabinets and simply want new doors, this usually takes one day. Basic recovering for a kitchen under 30 doors and drawer fronts takes 2-3 days. Custom additions such as crown molding, light valances, adding new cabinets, or any other customization can extend your project to 4-5 or even more. Your sales representative will let you know how many days the job will take when you are quoted.
